Lille Flea Market

Lille is a modern city, fashionable, and interesting city, with a real sense of history and culture. Lille (or Ryssel in Flemish) is the most important city in northern France, and the fourth biggest in France. You can enjoy the best of what this city has to offer with our three day Lille Flea Market (Grande Braderie) mini break. The world renowned Grande Braderie is Europe's biggest flea market, with over one million visitors swarming the streets to browse the never-ending stalls.

Rouen - the Capital of Normandy and the Seine-Maritime department. Once one of the largest and most prosperous cities of medieval Europe, Rouen was the seat of the Exchequer of Normandy in the Middle Ages. It has preserved much of it's historical centre which is now largely composed of pedestrian streets. As you walk through the historical centre, past half timbered houses, discover architectural treasures for example Gothic monuments like the Notre Dame Cathedral, St Ouen Abbey and Saint Maclou Church.

The Notre Dame cathedral itself was the subject of a series of paintings by Claude Monet, some of which are exhibited in the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Rouen.
