Christmas in the Rhine Valley

This Christmas will be one to remember with an included Christmas Day dinner, dance and free bar* at your hotel in the heart of Germany’s beautiful Rhine Valley. The Rhine Valley is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year and we include an excursion and a Rhine Cruise to show you the best of what’s on offer. On day two, we have a full day excursion to Cochem – the ‘Pearl of the Moselle’ and home to an Imperial Castle, castle ruins and various impressive religious sights. Christmas Day is yours at leisure and we also offer transfers for a short visit to nearby Boppard – a pretty town with a relaxing promenade, two castles and Roman excavations. After a morning at leisure on day four, we include an afternoon River Rhine cruise taking you past the imposing Loreley Rock and stunning scenery before completing this lovely tour by coach.

Hotel

You will stay for four nights at the comfortable Hotel Zur Alten Post in the Spa Town of Bad Salzig, near Boppard. Our hotel is well-furnished with en-suite bedrooms, a bar, decorated in German style and a dining room where three breakfasts and three dinners and Chritmas day lunch will be served during your stay. You will be staying in charming Bad Salzig which is just one train stop away from historic Boppard.
