For six months only Granada Studios is opening up for an exclusive peek behind the scenes of Coronation Street - one of the nation’s best loved shows. On your guided visit to this famous fictional street you will have a look at the history behind the long running show, see cast member’s dressing rooms, discover some of the most iconic sets, and take to the cobbled streets to explore the alleyways and back yards of the residents.
It's the longest running soap on British TV and for the past 50 years the lives of the residents of Coronation Street in Weatherfield have been watched
by millions of viewers. Stepping onto the set of Corrie, famous landmarks will surely stir up memories of some amazing storylines from the past. There’s the Rovers Return where famous Landlords have included Bet Lynch and Steve and Liz MacDonald, and the redbrick terraces that have seen romances, parties and many comedy moments but also murders, family fall-outs and affairs.
