Well-known for its gentle hillsides 'wolds', the Cotswold region
offers unspoilt English beauty rich in sleepy picturesque villages
and sweeping valleys.
Discover the gentle hillsides and the sleepy villages on our 3 day tour to this ‘typically English’ area. We include a visit to Sudeley Castle, which dates back to the 10th Century, and one of England’s finest. Sudeley Castle is where Catherine Parr was laid to rest, however it is said that her Ghost roams the grounds. We also visit the elegant Warwickshire town of Royal Leamington Spa and Stratford upon Avon, the Birthplace of William Shakespeare.
Your Hotel
You will stay for two nights at one of the three-star Britannia hotels in the Coventry area. Your stay will include dinner and breakfast throughout. Your hotel will have a restaurant, and bar and the comfortable en-suite bedrooms will have TV, Telephone and Tea/Coffee making equipment.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Leamington Spa. We journey to your hotel, first making a visit to the fashionable elegant
town of Royal Leamington Spa in the heart of South Warwickshire before arriving at your hotel in
time for included dinner.
Day 2 - The Cotswolds. We have a leisurely drive through the ‘best of the Cotswolds’ visiting ‘Chocolate Box’ villages such as Winchcombe, Bourton on the Water, and Stow on the Wolds. We also include entrance to the Award Winning Gardens, Grounds and Exhibitions of Sudeley Castle.
Day 3 - Stratford Upon Avon. We spend the morning at Stratford, set in the beautiful rural Warwickshire countryside on the banks of the River Avon and the birthplace of William Shakespeare. We return home after lunch.
