The Tour de France
“Join us for the climax of the world’s best-known bicycle race!”
Our four day Paris break departing July 24th will include the opportunity
to experience the great city on one of its big days of the year. The Sunday
afternoon (day three of your holiday) sees the finale of the World’s Greatest Cycle race, as the survivors of a 2,000 mile marathon along the roads of France look for one of the sport’s most prestigious victories.
There is a tremendous atmosphere in the city as hundreds of thousands
gather, on and around the Champs Elysees, to watch the final kilometres
of this three week spectacular. You will be able to walk around the
outside of the circuit and then find a good point to watch one of the
most colourful and dramatic couple of hours in World Sport.
Your Hotel
You will stay for three nights at a business class
hotel such as the Kyriad Torcy, or similar. All hotels
used have well-furnished en-suite bedrooms
as well as a comfortable bar and a
dining restaurant where continental breakfast
will be included on each morning of your stay.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 - PARIS. Journey to your hotel in the Greater Paris area.
Day 2 - PARIS. Included coach transfer into the centre of Paris. Optional
daytime city tour and boat cruise. Return transfer to your hotel
late evening.
Day 3 - PARIS. Closing stage of the three week Cycle Race. Return
transfers into Paris for the exciting finale.
Day 4 - PARIS. Depart after breakfast. Included visit to Cité Europe
shopping centre, in Calais, before returning
home.
