Traditional pipes and drums, Highland dancers, intricate displays by cavalry, military dog teams, the stunning backdrop of Edinburgh Castle! These are some of the images you will take home from this sight and sound spectacular. You’ll spend two nights at a comfortable hotel in Scotland within easy coaching distance of Edinburgh. After a comfortable first night in your hotel, you’ll depart mid-morning on day two for Edinburgh where you will enjoy free time for shopping and sightseeing. We will then transfer you to Edinburgh Castle* for the highlight of your holiday, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. This is a spectacular sell-out event so we recommend you book early. *Please note that access to the castle is via a steep cobbled street.

Your Hotel

You will stay for two nights at a comfortable hotel in Scotland, such as, or similar to, the Erskine Bridge or Normandy Hotel, Glasgow. All hotels used have well furnished en-suite bedrooms as well as a comfortable bar and a dining restaurant where a traditional breakfast will be included on each morning of your stay

Your Itinerary

Day 1 - SCOTLAND. Journey to your comfortable hotel in Scotland.

Day 2 - SCOTLAND/EDINBURGH TATTOO. Included coach transfer into the centre of Edinburgh. Included entry to the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Return transfer to your hotel after the show.

Day 3 - SCOTLAND. After breakfast we depart from our hotel. En-route we will make a stop at Gretna Green* where you can purchase lunch, stretch your legs and take in some fresh air before we resume the journey home. *Please note that some passengers may route home heading south and east, via the A1, and a suitable alternative stop will be made.
