Antwerp is the second largest city in Belgium, and the people really do make an effort at Christmas as they transform the city into a magical winter
wonderland in the festive period. This four day mini-cruise gives you plenty of free time in Antwerp as well as all the inclusive treats onboard
Fred.Olsen's Black Watch. Every year the sprawling 'Christmas Village' is set up in the festively decorated old market square in front of the grand
City Hall. The Christmas Markets are made up of a wealth of stalls selling everything from pastries and glühwein to handicrafts and toys. There
is also an ice rink and a programme of concerts. This is the perfect break to not only indulge yourself but to purchase unique Christmas gifts for
friends and family. The historic port of Antwerp also boasts a lot of outstanding architecture and museums, including the largest diamond museum in
the world.
Black Watch, Fred.OlsenYour Cruise Ship - Black Watch
You will stay three nights on board the Cruise Ship Black Watch. All cabins have television, telephone, private facilities, hairdryer and individually controlled air conditioning. Meals are served in the two main
indoor restaurants, outdoors by the two pools, and one indoor restaurant for informal dining. The selection of bars and lounges ensures plenty of
choice for passengers day and night, whether it's peace and quiet in the library or dancing to the small hours in the Lido Lounge. The main show
lounge provides the setting for the nightly cabaret show, whilst the Observatory Lounge on the top deck gives a panoramic view day and night. There
is also an internet room. Other facilities include golf nets, gym and fitness centre with beauty salon, two outdoor pools and two Swimmex machines.
The medical centre is staffed by a doctor and two nurses on every cruise.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 Journey by executive coach to Southampton. Sail at 4.30pm.
Day 2 Antwerp. Dock in Antwerp at 12.30pm. Afternoon and evening at leisure to explore the Christmas Markets.
Overnight onboard at Antwerp.
Day 3 Antwerp. A further morning at leisure in Antwerp. We set sail at 12.30pm.
Day 4 Southampton. Dock around 7.00am. Journey home by executive coach.
