Amsterdam is a fantastic brew of canals lined by ramrod straight brownstone houses, a city that could have been made for cyclists. Vondelpark has many nature trails, flanked by boughs of trees shedding their first coats of autumn leaves. Anne Frank's claustrophobic bolt hole is a sobering contrast to the café life that thrives around bustling Dam Square and Leidesplein.

Like Amsterdam, Bruges is laced by a network of canals and graceful bridges, but the 'Venice of the North' is much more traditional in terms of architecture. Mainly neo-gothic in style, it can best be appreciated from the old bridge over the lake at Minnewater.

Your Cruise Ship - Boudicca

You will stay four nights on board the Cruise Ship Boudicca. All cabins have television, telephone, private facilities, hairdryer and individually controlled air conditioning. Meals are served in the three main indoor restaurants, and the informal indoor restaurant, or outside by the pool. There is a good selection of bars and lounges, a well equipped gym, golf driving nets and an internet room.

Your Itinerary

Day 1 - Join your executive coach at your local pick-up point and journey to the port of Newcastle to board your cruise ship. Your cruise ship sets sail at 4.30pm.

Day 2 - CRUISING AT SEA. A full day at leisure to enjoy the on-board facilities.

Day 3 - AMSTERDAM. Dock in Amsterdam around 8am. At leisure or a full day in Amsterdam. We set sail at 8pm.

Day 4 - ZEEBRUGGE. Dock in Zeebrugge at 8am. At leisure of a full day in Zeebrugge. Optional excursion to Bruges (book on board) We set sail at 6pm.

Day 5 - PORTSMOUTH.
