First port of call is Lerwick, capital of the Shetlands and Britain's most northerly town, some one hundred miles from the mainland. The approach is still guarded by the brooding, restored Fort Charlotte, a hexagonal behemoth dating back to 1665.
A late night in beautiful Bergen allows time to sample the outdoor life of this compact Nordic city. Cradled by hills, the city looks spectacular from the summit of Mount Floyen. In town, the quirky, half-timbered warrens of the historic Bryggen invite you to lose yourself for a couple of fascinating hours.

You will stay four nights on board the Cruise Ship Boudicca. All cabins have television, telephone, private facilities, hairdryer and individually controlled air conditioning. Meals are served in the three main indoor restaurants, and the informal indoor restaurant, or outside by the pool. There is a good selection of bars and lounges, a well equipped gym, golf driving nets and an internet room.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Join your executive coach at your local pick-up point and journey to the port of Leith to board your cruise ship. Your cruise ship sets sail at 5.30pm.
Day 2 - LERWICK, SHETLANDS. Dock in Lerwick around 12noon. We set sail at 6pm.
Day 3 - BERGEN. Dock in Bergen at 9am. A full day at leisure to explore Bergen. We set sail at 11pm.
Day 4 - CRUISING AT SEA. A full day at leisure to enjoy the on-board facilities.
Day 5 - NEWCASTLE. Dock in Newcastle around 7.30. Journey home by executive coach.
