“Ostend is a seaside resort with a stunning beach,
shopping, great seafood,
bars & casino!”

A Belgian Beach
Ostend is Belgium’s biggest seaside resort and is popular with the British who flock to Ostend for the sun, sand and seaside air. Ostend has a great beach for those looking to relax and there is also plenty to do for the more adventurous, especially by night. Many visitors are interested in the fishing harbour and the old town, the North Sea Aquarium and other museums. In the evening, Ostend comes alive with bars, pubs and clubs and of course the chance to place your chips at the famous local casino! Our optional excursion to Bruges, the ‘little Venice of the north’, offers the opportunity to explore the meandering canals and beautiful bridges, its cobbled alleyways and quiet tree lined squares.
