The Tour de France
“Experience the atmosphere of the final stage of the world's greatest cycle race.”
Our four day break takes you to the memorable city of Paris where you will witness one of the world's greatest sporting
events - The Tour de France. As the survivors of this gruelling 2,000 mile marathon near the race's climax on the Champs Elysees you will be there to
soak up the atmosphere and see it all happen. We will drop you in Paris to find yourself a vantage point amongst the hundreds of thousands of colourful
and animated spectators. Maybe this year it will be the Brit, Mark Cavendish, who came so close in 2009. Day Two is free to explore the many attractions
of Paris. Perhaps you could ascend the Eiffel Tower, visit the Arc de Triomphe and delve into the Louvre. Why not take our optional full day sightseeing
tour and one-hour River Seine cruise - an easy and informative way to see the sights?
Your Hotel
You will stay for three nights at a comfortable hotel such as the Kyriad Torcy, or similar. All hotels used have well-furnished
en-suite bedrooms as well as a bar and a dining restaurant where continental breakfast will be included on each morning of your stay.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 Paris. Journey to your hotel in the Greater Paris area.
Day 2 Paris. Included coach transfer into the centre of Paris. Optional daytime city tour and boat cruise.
Return transfer to your hotel late evening.
Day 3 Paris. Closing stage of the three week Cycle Race. Return transfers into Paris for the exciting finale.
Day 4 Paris. Depart after breakfast. Included visit to Cité Europe shopping centre, in Calais, before
returning home.
