Valkenburg at the Crossroads of Europe

Valkenburg is located in the South of Holland and represents a great base from which to visit three European countries. We include a visit to Aachen, home to an impressive cathedral and market square. We then journey through the Dutch countryside and on to the Three Country Point where the borders of Holland, Belgium and Germany all meet. On day three, you have the full day at leisure in Valkenburg, where you can explore the old streets and caves, visit the castle, or join our optional excursion to some of the stunning Rhine Valley’s prettiest towns, including Unkel and Konigswater where you will have a River Rhine cruise. We also offer an optional excursion to the historic fortifi ed town of Monschau, with its unique half-timbered houses.
