Valkenburg's Christmas Market takes place in beautifully

Valkenburg is a delightful little Dutch hill town built around a romantic ruined castle and sits at the ‘Crossroads of Europe’ between Germany and Belgium.
The unique Christmas market takes place in beautifully lit old caves which run underneath the town. In the evening we travel just over the border to the pretty German town of Aachen. The main Christmas markets sit around the impressive Cathedral and Town Hall. The funfair, illuminations and varied stalls of Aachen’s ‘Christmas City’ have made this a popular festive destination.

As we journey home, on day three, we visit have a short visit to Bruges, where you can sample the Christmas market, picturesque canals and bridges of the ‘Venice of the North’.
Your Hotel
You will stay two nights at a comfortable hotel in Holland within easy coaching distance of Valkenburg.
All hotels have
en-suite bedrooms, bar and restaurant where continental breakfast is served.
Your Itinerary
Day 1 Holland. Travel to your hotel in Holland.
Day 2 Valkenburg & Aachen. Included transfer into Valkenburg and Aachen Christmas Markets.
Day 3 Bruges. We depart our hotel for a short lunchtime visit to Bruges before commencing our journey home.
