We include a scenic drive down the romantic Rhine Valley to the historical town of Rudesheim as well as a Rhine Cruise. This popular one-hour cruise takes in the world famous Loreley Rock on the way down to St Goar and is one of the best ways to take in the beauty of the area. A siren named Loreley was said to bewitch sailors from upon her granite rock, causing them to ground their boats or lose control of them and sink. These days a safe channel is marked by buoys and no one admits to hearing the siren song of Loreley. (The translation of the name Loreley is 'murmuring rock').
As an added bonus, we also include a scenic drive into the Moselle Valley. This equally beautiful area is famed for its wine and castles. You will visit the charming town of Cochem, a destination affectionately known as 'the Pearl of the Moselle'.
