Four-Star Brussels Flower Carpet
For only one weekend every two years, Belgian begonia cultivators decorate the Market Place with a beautiful flower carpet using nearly one million flowers and measuring a massive 77 by 24 metres. The famous carpet of flowers is laid right in the centre of the Grand Place and, for a small charge paid locally, can be admired best from the balcony of the City Hall, which is open to the public for the occasion.
